We may also register a business name, which is used primarily by individuals rather than corporations. Registering a business name means that the individual can trade without incorporating a company, while still being able to register with the VAT department and other authorities.
The business name allows the client to trade as a private individual, and enables such person to issue invoices, receipts and other official documentation in the business name the client has chosen, although it should not be confused with a trade mark or a company.
Due to the legal nature of the business name, payments received by the individual will be subject to personal income tax - and not corporate tax.
Our corporate team will prepare the necessary documents and submit the application on behalf of the client, and liaise with the representatives of the Registrar to ensure the application is handled efficiently. All relevant certificates and documentation will be provided to the client once the name is officially registered.
